Data Oriented Software Engineer @ ATLANTIS Engineering

ATLANTIS Engineering is the leading company in SE Europe in CMMS/CAFM solutions, Industry 4.0 and Maintenance Consulting. They develop software solutions tailored to industry maintenance departments. They are dedicated to ongoing research and development, leveraging cutting-edge technology to continuously enhance and extend their product portfolio.

Now, they are looking for a Data Oriented Software Engineer to join their Industry 4.0 team in Thessaloniki.

As a Data Oriented Software Engineer, you will play a key role in designing and implementing advanced data analytics solutions for predictive monitoring and process optimization in industrial environments.
In case you are selected, your main duties will be:

• Collaborating with factory engineers to understand production processes and shopfloor machinery functionality to assess the condition-based monitoring requirements
• Processing and managing sensor data to extract actionable insights
• Conducting data analysis using exploratory, detection, and predictive algorithms
• Developing machine learning algorithms in Python for predictive maintenance and other industry-focused applications
• Building and maintaining an analytics pipeline using C# and Python, including data collection, processing, and reporting for predictive maintenance
• Preparing comprehensive user and technical documentation for assigned tasks
• Working closely with clients to optimize systems based on feedback and performance metrics

To be able to successfully carry out the duties of the role of the Data Oriented Software Engineer, you should meet the following criteria:

• Integrated Master Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering or Bachelor and Master Degree in Computer Science
• 3+ years of proven experience in data analysis and machine learning
• 2+ years of experience as a Software Developer or in a similar role
• Good knowledge of C#, ASP.NET Core, or proficiency in another object-oriented programming language
• Excellent communication skills for collaboration with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Fluency in English

Desired qualifications it would be nice to have:

• Eagerness to learn new technologies
• Strong team spirit and communication skills
• Working knowledge of: Docker technologies, Git, Message Brokers (e.g., MQTT protocol) and SQL
