Senior PHP Engineer @ Epignosis

We are looking for a Senior PHP Engineer to join their TalentLMS team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in PHP development, as well as clear understanding of web development best practices.

As a Senior PHP Engineer, you will:

• Work together with fellow backend, frontend, DevOps and QA engineers, as well as product managers and designers
• Mentor fellow developers and participate in decision-making
• Transform User Stories to actual backend code and API endpoints
• Refactor code using modern PHP practices and tools
• Perform rigorous code reviews and receive likewise.

• 5+ years of experience in PHP development (8.0+ is a plus)
• Strong analytical skills and background in algorithms and data structures
• Strong understanding of web development and database best practices
• Experience with Unit testing – TDD is a plus
• Experience with designing and consuming modern APIs
• Experience with working on high-volume/high-traffic web applications
• Experience with modern CI/CD tools and best practices
• Experience with AWS will be considered a plus.
